Endometriosis of the Fallopian tube is one of the main causes of Pelvic Inflammatory disease, the others being tubal damage and peritubal scar tissue formation secondary to tuberculosis or pelvic surgery leading to adhesions. These constitute the tubal causes of infertility, abdominal pain etc
